Born and raised in Charleston, SC, Steve developed his interests in metal works from his father who was a well respected business man in the Charleston area. Being from the lowcountry he has an appreciation for the ironwork and architecture that Charleston is famous for. Combining these two influences along with the inspiration of his family, Steve has designed and created the works of art you see here. |

| A&E Inspired was named after Steve's daughters Amy and Erin Corbin. Both have brought much pleasure to Steve's life. Unfortunately Steve lost his daughter, Erin, in 2000 to a rare disease, Niemann Pick Disease. Click here to learn more about the Niemann Pick Foundation. | ||
Currently Steve's works include his interpretation of both the new and the old Cooper River Bridges. The old John P. Grace Memorial Bridge was replaced by the Arthur Ravenel Bridge in 2005. Many of Steve's creations are not meant to be an accurate depiction but rather a one of a kind abstract version of various lowcountry landmarks. Each piece of art is an original. Orders can be made to desired size. Steve has donated his bridges to Ducks Unlimited and to various schools in the Charleston area for fund raising events. The interest in his work encouraged him to create this site. We hope that you enjoy his work. Read the "Man of Steel" Tideline article about Steve and his work here |
